AUGUST 16 by Mattea Falk

To be kind, I’m too nosy. I eat half the bavarian
creme, circle the house. Light rain or
we’re in the cloud? Many flies on the bannister.
A good judge of horses. I try on
my naked morning, lifting and pushing
to look a little less
like the furthest mountain
I can see: a point to walk
to and to
keep walking.
