2 poems by Rose Knapp

Twilight in Pierced Velvet

Twilight slides into the edge of obsidian night

Covering the viridian cerulean orb we call Earth

In stardust and the hush of a secular solar eclipse

Cocaine Sunday

six swift successive stabs suffocation lines devoured quickly

anointing one as the invincible goddess of the dead universe
