Years later I come across

the woman I lost

my virginity to. She asks me

to lift up her dress

there and then,

to go down on her

on the grass verge

of the busy road,

the one I used to walk down

when I missed the school bus

which seemed to happen

more and more often

the more she wanted

me to do it.
