as it turns out

my brain is not a compact thing a cluster of shards glued & barely holding it together pills rose-gold cloud attempt to ease a sledge-hammer thought

a faucet left to drip for days shallows in the sink till the flat is a pool then a shark swims in

the news will shake you at first but you’ll shrug it off real quick
